About the position

The Associate Director, Precision Medicine Clinical Laboratory Operations is responsible for overseeing clinical laboratory project and program management across various therapeutic areas. This role involves strategic oversight of laboratory deliverables, ensuring study timelines are met, and managing risks associated with clinical laboratory operations. The position requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders to support both early and late-stage clinical programs, making it essential for the candidate to have extensive experience in clinical laboratory operations and project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of laboratory deliverables across the clinical trial portfolio.
• Manage clinical laboratory project timelines and risks, ensuring alignment with study start expectations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on all aspects of clinical laboratory deliverables, from study conduct to sample management and testing.
• Plan, monitor, and update biomarker strategy delivery schedules for clinical development programs.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and cross-functional partners to manage clinical laboratory operations.
• Communicate enhancements to Clinical Laboratory Project Management and design processes to address gaps.
• Act as a subject matter expert on central and specialty laboratory processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with clinical trials, focusing on clinical sample collection.
• Extensive experience in clinical laboratory operations and biospecimen logistics.
• Strong understanding of technical, clinical, and strategic aspects of laboratory operations delivery.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and leading internal and external meetings.
