About the position

The Digital Product Excellence team in the office of the CTO at Takeda's Global Data, Digital, and Technology (GDD&T) function is dedicated to enhancing our design, product, and innovation practices both internally and in collaboration with external partners. Our mission is to position Takeda as the most trusted, science-driven, digital biopharmaceutical company. We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our team as a Senior Digital Product Manager, focusing primarily on launching our Target Digital Product Profile (TDPP) global program. This role requires a keen eye for identifying gaps in product opportunities for patients, healthcare professionals (HCPs), and employees, along with an innovative mindset to address these gaps effectively. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in building enterprise product management capabilities by supporting the design and implementation of the TDPP operational model. This includes influencing the definition of roles and responsibilities across various teams within DD&T, GPLS, GMA, DSI, and business units. You will manage business development activities for key strategic digital technology partnerships, coordinating with internal teams, advising on scope definition, and communicating key milestones and barriers to leadership. Additionally, you will identify and manage external partnerships to support TDPP activities, including consulting and technology partners. As a Senior Digital Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing a global digital product strategy that optimizes DD&T capabilities and scalability. You will act as a liaison between business, technology, and design teams across the enterprise, driving the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle. This includes conducting product and market research, competitor analysis, internal capability assessments, planning, positioning, requirements development, and product launch. You will own the product strategy, design, development, and launch in close partnership with product teammates and cross-Takeda Value Chain partners. Your role will also involve managing product planning to align long-term roadmaps with short-term release plans, influencing the prioritization of the product backlog, and ensuring agile teams remain unblocked and aligned. You will communicate how the product meets the business priorities and goals of the organization, working closely with partners in R&D, DD&T, and the ecosystem to achieve product goals. This position requires a strong analytical skillset, experience in digital health products, and a human-centric approach to problem-solving, all while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
