The Associate Director of Product Marketing will assume responsibility for global product strategy, product marketing, go-to-market planning, and business management of Razer's Pro Creator content category. This role is focused on professional content category strategy and proving product and retail leadership by developing and executing marketing plans and business initiatives to achieve growth, revenue, and profitability targets. The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of global marketing launches and category sustain plans for the Razer content creation category. They will be responsible for business unit category forecasts, tracking, and revenue for the worldwide content creation category, P&L management, and drive-to-goal actions. The Associate Director will own the consumer-facing product roadmaps for the content creation category at Razer and will be responsible for all product marketing and product management functions of this category. They will lead the development of comprehensive product launch plans for new product launches, present to internal stakeholders, and drive execution of plans at a detailed level. Additionally, this role will support PR teams through participation, effectively communicate with the outside press, and represent the category, products, and company as required. The Associate Director will ensure content creation category preparation and delivery of on-time marketing assets for worldwide sales and communications channels. They will also be responsible for the development of global marketing plans and reports for content creation product lines to summarize key activities driving revenue and unit growth to meet targets, including promotions, launches, PR, events, influencer seedings, collateral creation, and digital marketing. This position will function as the global content creation product marketing point of contact for internal stakeholders including sales, regional marketing teams, PR, community, technical support, business development, operations, and finance. The Associate Director will represent Razer at public-facing events, customer, and partner meetings, as requested, and attend relevant trade shows, lead meetings, work the booth, and meet partners. They will be the global product category expert for all technical-related questions related to content creation products and accessories.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execute global marketing launches and category sustain plans for the Razer content creation category.
  • Responsible for BU category forecasts, tracking, and revenue for worldwide content creation category, P&L management, and drive-to-goal actions.
  • Own the consumer-facing product roadmaps for the content creation category at Razer.
  • Responsible for all product marketing and product management functions of the Razer content creation product category.
  • Lead development of comprehensive product launch plans for new product launches, present to internal stakeholders, and drive execution of plans at a detailed level.
  • Support PR teams through participation, effectively communicate with the outside press, and represent the category, products, and company as required.
  • Ensure content creation category preparation and delivery of on-time marketing assets for worldwide sales and communications channels.
  • Responsible for the development of global marketing plans and reports for content creation product lines to summarize key activities driving revenue and unit growth to meet targets (promotions, launches, PR, events, influencer seedings, collateral creation, digital marketing, etc.).
  • Lead the strategy development and execution of content creation product marketing activities for all regions, working closely with global and regional cross-functional teams.
  • Function as global content creation product marketing point of contact for internal stakeholders including sales, regional marketing teams, PR, community, technical support, business development, operations, and finance.
  • Represent Razer at public-facing events, and customer, and partner meetings, as requested.
  • Attend relevant trade shows, join, and lead meetings, work the booth, and meet partners.
  • Global product category expert for all technical-related questions related to content creation products and accessories.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in category or product marketing in the consumer electronics industry; gaming hardware is highly preferred with experience in content creation and streaming a big plus.
  • Experience leading roadmap development and GTM execution of consumer technology products with a track record of successful launches.
  • Experience leading the development and overseeing the execution of global product marketing plans.
  • Experience with gaming or consumer electronics sales channels: retail, carrier, direct, online, and distribution.
  • Able to write marketing copy and provide design direction on creative including digital marketing, web merchandising, print ads, video, graphics, etc.
  • Has previously developed detailed marketing plans and was involved in articulating the strategy and requirements for success.
  • Can work independently, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills including ability to successfully interact with executive management.
  • Experience in working in a Global company leading cross-functional international project teams with responsibility for the output of non-directly managed colleagues.
  • Must have Microsoft Office Experience: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
