About the position

The Associate Director of Program Management at Boundless Life Sciences Group is a senior leadership role focused on driving process improvement, operational excellence, and team leadership within the project management team. This position is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of brand and business objectives in the pharmaceutical marketing space, managing complex projects, and maintaining high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the evolution of project management processes by establishing best practices and driving operational excellence.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including larger, complex initiatives like websites and videos.
  • Own multi-million-dollar brands from a project management perspective, ensuring flawless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to leadership and clients, offering insights that guide decision-making.
  • Partner with the Account team to ensure alignment on strategy and objectives across all deliverables.
  • Lead tactical planning and estimate creation, ensuring realistic financial forecasting and resource allocation.
  • Develop and nurture top talent by hiring, mentoring, and creating growth pathways within the team.
  • Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance within the project management team.
  • Take ownership of financial management for projects, ensuring accurate tracking of scope, budget, and profitability.
  • Act as a change agent advocating for process improvements and technology enhancements.
  • Provide clear leadership in client-facing interactions, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage client expectations and ensure alignment on deliverables.
  • Lead internal and client meetings, ensuring strategic alignment and informed parties.
  • Anticipate and mitigate project risks by implementing risk management strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor and partner relationships, ensuring high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Expertise in pharmaceutical marketing regulations and Med/Legal processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for managing complex projects.
  • Excellent leadership and conflict management skills to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for quality standards and timelines.
  • Ability to develop and deliver team training and provide mentorship.
  • High proficiency in digital project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or science/medicine.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a pharmaceutical marketing agency managing high-profile clients.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills for constructive feedback.
  • Expertise in financial management, including budgeting and profitability management.
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com).
