About the position

The Associate Director, Program Manager for oneRTX PST is responsible for leading and managing large-scale, complex programs related to business process and system transformation, specifically focusing on the implementation of SAP's S/4 HANA solution. This role involves project planning, execution, resource management, risk management, and stakeholder communication to ensure the successful delivery of the oneRTX initiative, which aims to harmonize processes and improve operational efficiency across RTX's business units.

Responsibilities

  • Project planning and execution by partnering with RTX's chosen system integrator and key stakeholders.
  • Track the project's progress, including task completion, milestone achievement, and overall project timeline adherence.
  • Resource management and allocation, understanding team member workload and ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Proactive risk management, identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring potential risks.
  • Oversee other projects in support of the oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation program.
  • Communicate expectations and instill accountability in project team members.
  • Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goals.
  • Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization and prioritization.
  • Documentation and reporting, stakeholder communication, change management, budget management.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.
  • CORE or equivalent (ie. Six Sigma or Change Management) and project management expertise.
  • SAP Knowledge, prior implementation experience.
  • Experience with multiple project methodologies including waterfall and agile Scrum methodology.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Work effectively in a matrix and team environment and collaborate across lines of business process and digital.
  • Hands-on experience with the management and execution of business processes under Record to Report, Order to Cash, Source to Pay or Produce to Deliver.
  • Experience with agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects.
  • Effectively manage multiple activities concurrently.
  • Work productively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Effectively lead and manage change.
  • Guide and influence at multiple levels of the organization.
