About the position

The Workstream Program Manager will play a crucial role in the oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST) project at RTX Corporation, focusing on optimizing business processes and implementing SAP's S/4 HANA. This position involves managing large-scale, complex programs related to business process and system transformation, ensuring effective project management practices are followed to achieve project goals and enhance collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Project planning and execution in partnership with system integrators and key stakeholders.
  • Track project progress, including task completion and milestone achievement.
  • Manage resource allocation and ensure optimal utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor potential risks.
  • Oversee additional projects in support of the oneRTX: PST program as needed.
  • Communicate expectations and instill accountability in project team members.
  • Resolve conflicts and promote teamwork towards common goals.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks through effective organization and prioritization.
  • Document and report project status, stakeholder communication, and change management.
  • Manage project budgets and drive agreements with partners and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.
  • CORE or equivalent (ie. Six Sigma or Change Management) and project management expertise.
  • SAP Knowledge with prior implementation experience.
  • Experience with multiple project methodologies including waterfall and agile Scrum methodology.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to government contractual requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working effectively in a matrix and team environment.
  • Hands-on experience with business processes under Record to Report, Order to Cash, Source to Pay, or Produce to Deliver.
  • Experience with agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in leading and managing change at multiple organizational levels.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certifications.
