About the position

The Associate Director/Senior Manager - R2R Service Delivery at Vistra is a pivotal role focused on managing end-to-end accounting operations within the Global Service Centre in India. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with predetermined KPIs and SLAs while driving process transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, overseeing ERP system migrations, and developing a strong governance model to support the growth of the GSC operations department.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations as per pre-determined KPI's and SLA.
  • Oversee general ledger and sub-ledger accounting, payroll management, monthly accounting and management reporting, AP and A/R management, subsidiary accounting and consolidation, intercompany reconciliation, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Support statutory reporting and audit processes.
  • Review GL to ensure correct accounting practices are followed.
  • Migrate processes from various geographies into the Global Service Centre, India.
  • Lead end-to-end process transformation initiatives, identifying operational gaps and implementing optimized processes.
  • Manage ERP system migrations and implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute migration plans for processes transitioning to India, including creating SOPs and process maps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver system upgrades and automation initiatives.
  • Implement and monitor a strong governance and delivery model, including ERP systems.
  • Identify operational gaps and propose process improvements to the reporting manager.
  • Monitor KPIs and conduct variance analysis to identify trends and compare against forecasts.
  • Guide and motivate teams for higher productivity and limited attrition, while implementing automation initiatives.
  • Build a strong team of motivated professionals and develop succession plans for team members.
  • Work with the training department to ensure development areas are covered and reinforce new learning within the team.
  • Timely manage escalation of issues flagged by the team.

Requirements

  • CA/CPA/MBA with 12+ years of total experience, including 10+ post-qualification experience in the Record to Report (R2R) tower, preferably from a services industry captive/BPO set-up.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving automation and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale process improvements, from gap analysis to implementation.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, basic business mathematics, and analytical methods.
  • Experience of working within an international organization is preferable.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Good presentation skills and customer focus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
  • Self-driven and highly motivated individual, able to work independently.
  • Solution-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Experience of handling medium to large team sizes.
