About the position
The Associate Director, Recognition and Stewardship at Dartmouth College is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive stewardship strategy to support and advance Tuck's philanthropic priorities. This role involves collaboration with advancement leadership and focuses on enhancing donor recognition and engagement within a higher education context.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive stewardship strategy for Tuck's philanthropic priorities.
- Manage recognition and stewardship of annual and leadership gifts.
- Utilize fundraising management systems and technology to optimize work processes and services.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Anticipate and exceed the expectations of alumni, donors, and colleagues.
- Drive innovation in stewardship practices and donor engagement.
- Support a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 6 or more years of experience in a relevant field.
- Experience managing recognition and stewardship of gifts in higher education or nonprofit organizations.
- Proficiency in fundraising management systems and technology, such as Ellucian Advance.
- Knowledge of higher education philanthropy and fundraising principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and drive innovation in stewardship practices.
