About the position

The Associate Regional Account Director (ARAD) Oncology is responsible for driving key account strategy and unlocking growth opportunities for Bayer's Oncology portfolio within the North Texas territory. This role involves building relationships with key stakeholders, conducting business reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement account plans that support clinical, operational, and financial aspects of the products. The ARAD aims to be perceived as a partner of choice by customers, ensuring the successful positioning of Bayer's products in complex healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

  • Building & maintaining relationships with key account stakeholders (C- and D- level)
  • Conducting business reviews (QBRs)
  • Leveraging data tools to identify growth opportunities
  • Developing, implementing, and measuring cross-functional account plans
  • Unlocking product growth opportunities in accordance with product labeling and company policies
  • Building strategic relationships with key stakeholders for long-term mutual success
  • Attending relevant conferences, conventions, and trade shows
  • Identifying and prioritizing key account opportunities
  • Collaborating with the cross-functional team to build and implement account solutions
  • Mobilizing Area customer team and HQ teams to implement key actions from account plan
  • Setting account key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring achievement of goals
  • Building and maintaining relationships with relevant 3rd parties
  • Facilitating collaboration across functions to meet customer needs

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Significant pharma and/or other healthcare-related experience
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing Oncology commercial role
  • Prior relevant experience with Account Management including large community medical oncology, IDN/hospital systems, and academic institutions
  • Demonstrated skills in business planning, including account planning, problem solving, contracting, and analytics
  • Demonstrated cross-functional influence, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Deep understanding of customer channels and market dynamics across Oncology
  • Experience in budget management
  • Proficient in Power Point and Excel
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of pharma and/or other healthcare-related experience
  • 3+ years prior experience in a customer-facing Oncology commercial role
