About the position

The Associate Director, Regional Marketing Conventions & Field Programs is responsible for overseeing and executing field-based programs, product theaters, and national broadcasts in collaboration with brand and regional marketing leadership. This role involves managing regional field programs, speaker bureaus, and national conventions, while ensuring compliance with company policies and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. The position aims to enhance brand presence and drive revenue through strategic event management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of all regional field programs and regional third-party engagements.
  • Oversee the speaker bureau in conjunction with the Regional Marketing group and Brand leaders.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing, field leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution.
  • Evaluate strategies and tactics of projects and programs in conjunction with Brands and Regional Marketing leadership.
  • Develop and manage the full scope of regional events and deliverables to meet revenue goals.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams and external organizations to address potential obstacles in event execution.
  • Recommend events that drive key messaging and foster relationship-building opportunities with customers and partners.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders to review congress initiatives and timelines.
  • Ensure timely execution of projects and adherence to business-critical deadlines for conventions.
  • Manage partners and vendors to execute programs effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
  • 7 or more years of progressive sales, marketing, and/or communication experience required.
  • 4 or more years of pharmaceutical industry and conventions or field speaker experience required.
  • 4 or more years of oncology experience preferred.
  • 4 or more years of pharmaceutical marketing, including product launch experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in developing strategic initiatives with cross-functional disciplines preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA preferred.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Understanding of Pharma guidelines and Federal/State regulations preferred.
