About the position

The Associate Director of Regional Marketing for Prostate Cancer at Bayer is responsible for engaging and developing Oncology Thought Leaders (TLs) and executing marketing strategies within the Mid Atlantic and Tennessee Valley regions. This role focuses on generating insights for strategic decision-making, delivering programs to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and achieving long-term brand results for Bayer's Prostate Cancer Portfolio. The position requires significant travel within the territory and aims to foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in the oncology field.

Responsibilities

• Engage and develop relationships with Oncology Thought Leaders (TLs) in the field of prostate cancer.
• Coordinate and execute plans for company presence at regional and national prostate conferences.
• Lead marketing initiatives including peer-to-peer (P2P) execution and speaker bureau engagement.
• Localize marketing initiatives and programs, tailoring brand materials to local needs.
• Generate insights and coordinate customer intelligence sharing among internal partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-7 years of experience in the pharma/biotech industry, with at least 2 years in a customer-facing role.
• 2 years of experience in oncology or urology therapeutic areas.
• Proven track record in strategic business development and project management.
• Strong relationship-building skills with key customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a life science field preferred.
• Experience in sales training, sales management, or market access is a strong preference.
• Established relationships with academic institutions and key accounts.
