About the position

The Associate Director of Regional Marketing for Prostate Cancer at Bayer is responsible for engaging and developing Oncology Thought Leaders (TLs) and executing marketing strategies within the Mid Atlantic and Tennessee Valley regions. This role focuses on generating insights for strategic decision-making, delivering programs to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and achieving both near-term and long-term brand objectives for Bayer's Prostate Cancer Portfolio. The position requires significant travel within the territory, with a strong emphasis on building relationships and executing marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Engage and develop relationships with Oncology Thought Leaders (TLs) in the field of prostate cancer.
• Coordinate and execute plans for company presence at regional and national prostate conferences.
• Lead marketing initiatives including speaker bureau engagement and peer-to-peer programs.
• Localize marketing initiatives and tailor brand materials to meet local needs.
• Generate insights and coordinate customer intelligence with internal partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-7 years of experience in the pharma/biotech industry, with at least 2 years in a customer-facing role.
• 2 years of experience in oncology or urology therapeutic areas.
• Proven track record in strategic business development and project management.
• Strong relationship-building skills with key customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a life science field preferred.
• Experience in sales training, sales management, or market access is a plus.
• Established relationships with academic institutions and key accounts.
