About the position

The Associate Director of Regional Marketing for Prostate at Bayer is responsible for engaging and developing Oncology Thought Leaders (TLs) and executing marketing strategies for the Prostate Cancer Portfolio. This role involves generating insights for strategic decision-making, coordinating regional meetings, and delivering programs to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) across a defined territory, which includes parts of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and West Virginia. The position requires significant travel and aims to achieve both near-term and long-term brand objectives.

Responsibilities

• Engage and develop relationships with Oncology Thought Leaders (TLs) in the field of prostate cancer.
• Coordinate and execute plans for company presence at regional and national prostate conferences.
• Lead marketing initiatives including peer-to-peer (P2P) speaker programs and speaker bureau maintenance.
• Localize marketing initiatives and tailor brand materials to meet local needs.
• Generate insights and coordinate customer intelligence sharing among internal partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-7 years of experience in the pharma/biotech industry, with at least 2 years in customer-facing roles.
• 2 years of experience in oncology or urology therapeutic areas.
• Proven track record in strategic business approaches and customer relationship management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a life science background preferred.
• Experience in sales training, sales management, or market access is a strong preference.
• Established relationships with academic institutions and key accounts.
