About the position

The Associate Director Regional Marketing for Prostate at Bayer is responsible for engaging and developing Oncology Thought Leaders (TLs) and executing marketing strategies for the Prostate Cancer Portfolio. This role involves generating insights for strategic decision-making, coordinating regional meetings, and delivering programs to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) across a defined territory, which includes Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and West Virginia. The position requires significant travel (up to 50%) within the territory and aims to achieve both near-term and long-term brand objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and develop relationships with Oncology Thought Leaders (TLs) in the field of prostate cancer.
  • Coordinate and execute plans for company presence at regional and national prostate conferences.
  • Lead marketing initiatives including speaker bureau engagement and localize marketing programs.
  • Generate insights and coordinate customer intelligence with internal partners to support brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with local teams to optimize engagement and execution of marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Experience in the pharma/biotech industry with customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in oncology or urology therapeutic areas.
  • Proven track record of strategic business development and project management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the pharma/biotech industry, with at least 2 years in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in marketing or sales leadership, market access, or sales training.
  • Established relationships with academic institutions and key accounts.
