About the position

The Associate Director, Sales Incentive Compensation at Bristol Myers Squibb is responsible for developing strategies and overseeing the design, processing, and communication of all aspects of Incentive Compensation (IC) plans and contests for the Business Unit. This role involves collaboration with the Business Unit to align IC plans with sales and marketing strategies, managing resources, and ensuring effective implementation and communication of IC processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic partnership with Business Unit to design IC plans that align with Sales and Marketing strategy.
  • Allocate and manage resources to support Business Unit requirements and priorities.
  • Oversee the process for IC implementation and communication for Baselines, Scorecards, and Bonus payouts.
  • Manage quarterly payroll processing and annual trip processing.
  • Oversee Business Unit contests, including design, modeling, processing, communications, and payouts.
  • Provide team supervision and analytical support for IC modeling scenarios.
  • Offer analytical expertise and guidance for IC-related inquiries.
  • Serve as the key point of contact with the IC matrix team for plan changes or requests.
  • Manage and develop the team.
  • Manage budget for the team and for Business Unit IC.
  • Lead and/or participate in special projects and analytics.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required (quantitative area of study preferred)
  • MBA/other graduate degree preferred
  • 7+ Years Pharmaceutical Experience preferred
  • Incentive Compensation experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and with client groups and senior management
  • Experience working through conflict or challenging situations
  • Expertise working with Pharmaceutical sub-national sales data preferred.
