About the position

The Associate Director of Sales Operations at AT&T is responsible for managing the sales process and operational changes to support sales efforts. This role involves supervising subordinate employees, overseeing diverse operational issues, and collaborating with sales leadership to ensure effective execution of initiatives. The position requires a strategic approach to enhance customer operations and drive performance across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Manages an organization responsible for product, sales process, or operational changes in support of sales efforts.
• Counsels organization regarding changes to policies, establishes procedures, and communicates to the field.
• Oversees issues of diverse scope, analyzing current situations or data with multiple factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
• Collaborates with sales operations and regional sales leadership in planning, readiness, and execution of initiatives, including defining training and communication requirements for assigned channels.
• Ensures readiness of the customer operations organization, with potential responsibility for multiple sub-functions such as program execution, sales planning, performance reporting, and sales compensation.
• Directs daily work activities of employees, including training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7 or more years of sales operations experience.
• 2 or more years of supervisory experience.
