About the position

The Associate Director - Sales at Verizon Communications is responsible for leading a team of mobile solution client partners to achieve and exceed wireless sales goals. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to top executives, developing strategic service solutions for business customers, and fostering a collaborative team environment to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of six to ten mobile solution client partners to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Focus on strategic service solutions to help business customers improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for top executives in client organizations.
  • Develop, mentor, motivate, and train team members to achieve strong results.
  • Set goals, forecast, and analyze results to optimize sales and business growth.
  • Facilitate contracts and support effective negotiations with clients.
  • Evaluate team performance, implement improvements, and report results to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience in sales.
  • Experience selling technical enterprise solutions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience managing a sales team and developing team members.
  • Experience designing, proposing, selling, and contracting for complex technical solutions.
  • Experience leading a geographically dispersed team.
