The Associate Director, Security Assurance at Kyndryl plays a pivotal role in ensuring the cybersecurity of enterprises by managing risk, compliance, and readiness. This position is integral to Kyndryl's Security & Resiliency practice, focusing on safeguarding clients' digital assets through advanced cybersecurity measures and innovative solutions. The role emphasizes not just compliance but also proactive security strategies, including vulnerability management and penetration testing, to protect against emerging threats.
Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity assurance initiatives for Fortune 500 clients.
- Conduct security and risk assessments using established frameworks.
- Manage vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
- Collaborate with clients to develop business-driven IT solutions for cybersecurity challenges.
- Stay updated on global cyber threats and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Drive innovation and excellence in cybersecurity practices.
Requirements
- 15 years of cybersecurity experience.
- Knowledge of global cyber threats and tactics used by adversaries.
- Experience conducting security and risk assessments using frameworks like NIST, RMF, and ISO.
- Ability to adapt to changing security threats and technologies.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or PCI-QSA.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Experience with NIST 800-30, ISO 27005, or ISO 31000 risk frameworks.
- Experience with various audits including SOC1/SOC2/SOC3 and ISO 27001.
