About the position

The Associate Director of Supply Chain Management at Carrier will lead a global team responsible for managing Factory Support, including MRO, Engineering, Utilities, and EHS, as well as Field Services Subcontracting functions. This role focuses on optimizing asset management, overseeing customer relationships, and driving operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making. The position requires strategic leadership to maximize business value and results across various procurement categories.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4-6 direct reports and oversee customer relationship management with Carrier businesses.
• Prepare, approve, and monitor budgets and capital plans in collaboration with direct reports and Facilities providers.
• Drive productivity within the Facilities MRO expense and Capex categories.
• Oversee Factory Support procurement categories including MRO, Engineering, and EHS.
• Manage Utilities strategy and spend through a global team supporting utility billing and self-generation projects.
• Ensure alignment with Utility programs and site integration to enhance energy management and payment processes.
• Lead procurement team to deliver productivity and strategies for subcontracting services in the Field Services category.
• Drive total cost of ownership reduction through vendor management and demand management initiatives.
• Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain to execute demand management initiatives.
• Provide strategic leadership and commodity oversight to maximize business value and results.
• Conduct operational and spend analysis, develop and execute annual sourcing strategies, and manage supplier negotiations.
• Partner with internal clients to identify sourcing needs and improve sourcing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years' experience in plant and equipment purchasing or MRO supply chain management
• 5+ years' experience leading cross-functional teams
