About the position

The Associate Director for US Field Force Deployment & Sales Force Effectiveness at Alexion plays a crucial role in driving the success of the US Commercial organization. This position involves leading the development and execution of the Deployment Framework, managing field force realignments, and ensuring operational excellence through strategic leadership and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to develop and advance Alexion's Deployment strategy.
• Partner with key collaborators to lead the development and execution of the Deployment Framework.
• Direct the quarterly alignment process for assigned Business Units.
• Manage the roster for assigned business units.
• Collaborate with key partners to oversee and implement major and minor field force realignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of related health care industry experience: pharmaceuticals, strategy consulting
• Advanced knowledge of Field Force Deployment and Sales Force Effectiveness processes
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate optimal sales territory alignments
• Strong business sense with knowledge of the pharmaceutical US industry
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Advanced command on analytical tools (e.g., MS Excel, Access)

Nice-to-haves

• Pharmaceutical Sales Experience
• Master's degree or MBA
• Territory Design software experience i.e. Javelin Territory Designer or similar
• Excellent written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal skills
• High level of proficiency in MS Office software including: Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
