The ideal Associate Email Developer candidate has some experience coding HTML and CSS and a passion for technology. This position will be part of a team that develops customer-facing user interfaces within the email channel using HTML, CSS, and scripting languages within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The role involves collaborating with designers and other developers to create engaging and effective email communications that resonate with customers. The Associate Email Developer will be responsible for ensuring that all email templates are optimized for various devices and email clients, maintaining a high standard of quality and performance in all deliverables. In this role, you will review and slice customer-provided graphic design files (such as PSDs and images) to create visually appealing emails. You will hand code HTML and CSS for emails, ensuring that they are cross-browser and client compatible. Additionally, you will develop responsive and mobile-first emails, which are crucial in today's mobile-centric world. The position also requires developing dynamic content by utilizing AMPScript and/or Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), which allows for personalized and targeted email experiences. You will be expected to stay current on Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform features and capabilities, ensuring that you leverage the latest tools and techniques to enhance email marketing efforts.
