The ideal Associate Email Developer candidate has some experience coding HTML and CSS and a passion for technology. This position will be part of a team that develops customer-facing user interfaces within the email channel using HTML, CSS, and scripting languages within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The role involves working closely with graphic design files provided by customers, ensuring that the final email products are visually appealing and functionally robust across various email clients and devices. In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing and slicing customer-provided graphic design files (such as PSDs and images) and hand coding HTML and CSS for emails. It is crucial to ensure that the emails are cross-browser and client compatible, which requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of web standards. You will also develop responsive and mobile-first emails, which are essential in today's mobile-centric world. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing dynamic content by utilizing AMPScript and/or Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS). This includes creating Salesforce Marketing Cloud email templates and content blocks for use within emails. Staying current on Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform features and capabilities is also a key part of this role, as it allows you to leverage the latest tools and techniques to enhance email marketing efforts.
