About the position

The Associate Email Marketing Manager will be a key player in the Blue Buffalo Data-Driven Marketing Team, responsible for managing and executing email marketing strategies aimed at enhancing engagement and loyalty among Pet Parents. This role involves collaboration with various teams to develop and implement multi-channel campaigns, leveraging technology solutions to optimize email marketing efforts and drive performance through analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the multi-touch email marketing strategy, roadmap, and programs to enhance Pet Parent engagement.
  • Manage the technical creation and execution of campaign emails and support multi-channel journeys.
  • Coordinate the deployment of email campaigns across functional teams for integrated omni-channel campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with partners to deliver integrated campaigns supporting email strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of email strategies, programs, and campaigns.
  • Share insights with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize omni-channel strategies.
  • Oversee testing strategies to gain insights on the Pet Parent email experience.
  • Ensure dynamic content meets the needs of Pet Parent audiences and provide feedback to design teams.
  • Identify and implement new email marketing platform features to enhance consumer relationships.
  • Collaborate with teams to guide creative and content improvements across email marketing platforms.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for email marketing efforts and ensure optimal use of email marketing platform capabilities.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing, research, and analytics plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related area.
  • 5+ years in a digital marketing role focusing on email marketing strategies and campaign deployment.
  • 2+ years of experience with large-scale email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Bloomreach).
  • HTML experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of email personalization efforts.
  • Experience in managing consumer-facing multi-channel communications, including email campaign management.
  • Experience with dynamic content and audience segmentation activities.
  • Familiarity with API calls and trigger communication technology.

  • Experience in explaining and building support for digital and technical initiatives.
