As an Associate Analytics Engineer at Delta Defense, you will be part of a dynamic cross-functional team that is dedicated to transforming raw and operational data from various sources into business-oriented technology solutions. Your role will be crucial in enabling the accurate reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and insights that drive the organization forward. We are looking for candidates who are not only technically skilled but also possess a relentless resourcefulness and the ability to manage complex tasks swiftly while maintaining the highest quality standards. In this position, you will work under the guidance of senior team members to build data pipelines that integrate complex and disparate data sources. This will involve creating clean, tested, and reusable datasets that are ready for analysis. You will be responsible for ensuring data quality by creating and maintaining tests and monitors, adhering to established standards, and following the rules and requirements for data formats and attributes during transformations. Additionally, you will learn and apply engineering best practices around Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), unit testing, performance testing, and optimization. Following the guidance of the Data Architecture team will be essential to ensure the quality and consistency of the data model, and you will also be expected to create clear and effective documentation for your work. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing you to work three days a week in the office at our headquarters location.
