About the position

As a Data Platform Engineer at Anywhere Real Estate, you will play a crucial role in building a next-generation Enterprise Analytics Platform aimed at transforming the real estate industry. This position involves creating scalable data solutions, collaborating on data streaming, and enhancing data quality to support agents, brokers, home buyers, and sellers. You will work in a collaborative environment, focusing on developing tools for data ingestion and monitoring, while ensuring high performance and reliability of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Create high-performance, scalable data solutions for millions of users.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to develop the Next Generation Data Streaming Platform.
• Implement real-time data streaming from various sources using CDC-based technologies.
• Develop Data Quality and Ops Platforms for real-time data anomaly detection and profiling.
• Establish CI/CD processes for continuous delivery in AWS Cloud.
• Provide support for production issues, focusing on observability and proactive issue detection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• One or more years of programming experience in languages such as Go, Java, Python, or NodeJS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
