At SmartBear, we deliver the complete visibility developers need to make each release better than the last. Our award-winning and industry-favorite tools TestComplete, Swagger, Cucumber, ReadyAPI, and Zephyr are trusted by over 16 million developers, testers, and software engineers at 32,000+ organizations, including world-renowned innovators like Adobe, JetBlue, FedEx, and Microsoft. As an Associate Enterprise Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advocating for proven, cutting-edge technology that drives real results. You will thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where your expertise is valued, and you will support technical sales without the hassle of quotas or cold calling. This position offers you the opportunity to access the tools and training you need to become an industry leader while engaging with the latest software innovations through webinars, tradeshows, and more. In this role, you will work with the totality of our product suite, which ranges from error monitoring to front-end functional testing to API design and governance. You will focus on supporting our product-specific Enterprise Sales Engineers. As a trusted advisor to enterprise sales reps, you will showcase the value of our solutions and tackle technical challenges with creative solutions built on the SmartBear advantage. You will work closely with our Enterprise Solutions Engineers to manage POCs, build out account-specific use cases, and assist where needed. Building relationships with the users of our tools as they navigate through a POC will be essential, as you will check in, hold screen-shares, and research their asks. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Adoption teams to drive product success and customer satisfaction after the deal closes. You will assume responsibility for all components of the technical win by completing RFPs, building POC checklists, and creating tailored demo environments. This position is ideal for someone who is new to tech and eager to learn, perhaps a recent graduate with a CS degree or someone switching careers from another industry. You should have a portfolio of projects that demonstrate your ability to build and a desire for a more people-focused career rather than just working on Jira tickets. Comfort under pressure, a team-oriented mindset, and a motivation to learn new technology are essential traits for success in this role.
