About the position
Legacy Talent Search is seeking an Associate Estimator in Washougal, WA. This role is essential for supporting the company's commitment to quality and innovation in the heavy civil and marine construction industry. The Associate Estimator will be responsible for quantity takeoffs and will work closely with project teams to ensure accurate estimations and project planning.
Responsibilities
- Perform quantity takeoffs for construction projects.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide accurate estimates.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera P6 for project management and estimation tasks.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in heavy civil/marine construction.
- Internship or work experience with a General Contractor that included quantity takeoffs.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera P6, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent work ethic and teamwork skills.
