About the position
Legacy Talent Search is seeking an Associate Estimator in Washougal, WA. This role is crucial for supporting the company's commitment to quality and innovation in the heavy civil and marine construction industry. The Associate Estimator will be responsible for quantity takeoffs and assisting in the estimation process, ensuring that production results align with the company's high standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in quantity takeoffs for projects
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Support the estimation process for heavy civil/marine construction projects
- Collaborate with team members and work independently as needed
- Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Office, MS Project, P6, and AutoCAD effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in heavy civil/marine construction
- Internship or job experience with a General Contractor that included quantity takeoffs
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, MS Project, P6, and AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Excellent teamwork and work ethic
