If you want to be a Difference Maker, Renewal by Andersen is the place for you. The Associate Event Manager will partner with the Event & Retail Manager to grow the Boston market. This is a great opportunity to work with a world-class organization full of difference-makers, united by the common goal of making a difference in the lives of our homeowners, colleagues, families, and communities. This role does require to be available up to 40 weekends a year due to the nature of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees development and participation in retail partnerships and creation of lead-gen opportunities, including on-site administration, resource supervision, and other implementation details.
  • Negotiates contracts with retail partners and outside vendors to procure space and to obtain the best value for our investment.
  • Manages the department calendar.
  • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training; will also provide in-field coaching.
  • Leads classroom training to teach new staff RbA methodology and processes.
  • Provides guidance, training, and work direction to retail marketing reps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications preferred or equivalent skills and abilities.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales/marketing, planning events and/or managing sales/retail teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking skills, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills.
