About the position

The Associate role in the Product Strategy & Analysis team at Netflix focuses on providing analytical support and strategic insights related to software and hardware features that enhance content production and management within the studio. This position aims to optimize workflows across the supply chain, from content greenlighting to delivery and distribution, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align product and studio leadership on common roadmaps and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, contextualize, and forecast business trends to inform product decisions for executives and senior management.
  • Develop presentations that summarize key data, identify trends, and provide actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Prepare valuation analyses, financial projections, and scenario modeling for software, hardware, and operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and studio stakeholders to develop product roadmaps and define measures of success with data science teams.
  • Create strategic frameworks to guide decision-making for global productions using cloud and distributed technologies.
  • Partner with product managers on go-to-market strategies and support studio product rollout plans.
  • Support the forecasting process for production infrastructure needs.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, product management, investment banking, or a strategy/analytical/product-oriented role in media/entertainment/tech.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with knowledge of Google Suite preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, computer science, or mathematics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SQL and Tableau.
  • High-level understanding of Product Management concepts or experience working with Product and Engineering teams.
