Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is seeking a Service Technician to join our team, dedicated to empowering those seeking answers to life's most important scientific and healthcare questions. This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the Life Sciences Service Organization. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for developing the knowledge and skills necessary to support the maintenance, installation, and repair of Beckman Coulter products at customer sites. You will work under close supervision and mentoring from a manager, regional specialist, and senior engineers within your territory, allowing you to gain valuable experience and proficiency in your role. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of applicable products, customer support, and the technical skills vital for performing high-quality preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments. You will assist with preventative maintenance and installation, and as your abilities improve, you will work more independently. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing administrative duties such as logging service activities, expense reporting, and inventory management. This role is remote-based, with a focus on the Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin territories, and may require up to 50% overnight travel.
