About the position

The Associate Finance Director at Clorox will lead and direct all financial activities for the Burt's Bees Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This role involves partnering with the General Manager and function leads to develop and deliver the annual operating and long-range plans, managing a revenue of $250-300M and profit of $50-60M. The position plays a critical role in the Leadership team, influencing business choices to execute the Ignite Strategy and ensuring accurate financial reporting and internal controls. The role also includes managing a team of six finance professionals and navigating the complexities of the Burt's Bees business, which includes over 1,700 SKUs and a diverse supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all financial activities for Burt's Bees SBU.
• Partner with the General Manager and function leads to develop and deliver the annual operating plan.
• Manage quarterly closing of the books and presentation of financial statements to Senior Management.
• Ensure enforcement of internal controls with no major deficiencies.
• Support margin accretive innovation through external manufacturing and planning for scale.
• Identify and remove waste in legacy SBU processes and reporting.
• Actively seek to eliminate redundant or low-value work.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility.
• Significant cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
