About the position

The Associate Finance Manager will act as a key finance partner to the Marketing and Selling businesses within the Spine business unit at Stryker. This role involves overseeing operating expenses, financial forecasting, budgeting, month-end close, reporting, and expense management. The position requires collaboration with business leaders to influence financial decisions and improve the financial position of the company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key finance partner to the Marketing and Selling businesses within the Spine business unit.
• Oversee all operating expenses and mentor team members.
• Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Participate in month-end close activities including variance analysis and financial reviews.
• Communicate financial analysis to influence business changes.
• Collaborate with business leaders to develop annual budgets and quarterly projections.
• Manage lease payments and perform ad hoc analysis for strategy evaluation.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and decision support for projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and corporate policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of accounting or finance experience

• JDE, BPC and Hyperion Financial Management experience
