About the position

The Associate Financial Analyst in the Commercial Division at BISSELL Homecare plays a crucial role in providing detailed analysis, insights, and reporting to support the sales and marketing teams. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this position collaborates closely with the FP&A team and is responsible for evaluating financial viability of new products and ventures, as well as supporting management reporting and accounting activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares analysis with limited direction from manager and external customers
• Assists in evaluating new product/venture financial viability
• Provides explanation and input regarding results
• Determines calculations and updates templates for business planning activities
• Supports management reporting and accounting activities, including data validation and report creation
• Researches issues and problems as assigned
• Pro-actively identifies and communicates problems and solutions
• Actively employs problem solving techniques and evaluates possible solutions before seeking direction from manager
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including manipulation of large datasets using functions like SUMPRODUCT, XLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP
• Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and streamline functions
• Attention to detail and accuracy
