The Associate Financial Data Analyst plays a crucial role in aligning business activities with the enterprise data strategy at Raymond James Financial. This position involves close collaboration with various business units to support financial and data modeling efforts. The analyst is responsible for conducting basic data analysis and assisting in full lifecycle activities, which include requirements analysis, design, and the development of analysis and reporting capabilities. Continuous monitoring of performance and quality control plans is essential to identify areas for improvement. The analyst transforms financial data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making within the organization. In this role, the Associate Financial Data Analyst will design, develop, and refine reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate key insights to stakeholders. The analyst will also be tasked with interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques, ensuring that reports are provided regularly. Developing and implementing data collection systems to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality is a critical responsibility. The analyst will identify costs and develop methodologies for accurate allocation across the organization, assist in month-end profit and loss post-closing procedures, and maintain databases and data systems by acquiring data from primary or secondary sources. The position requires the ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, as well as filter and clean data. The Associate Financial Data Analyst will work closely with management and other data analysts to prioritize business and information needs, locate new process improvement opportunities, and perform other duties as assigned. This role operates under limited supervision, applying advanced knowledge and skills to resolve complex issues independently, while exercising considerable latitude and judgment to achieve desired outcomes on a variety of complex tasks.
