About the position

The Associate Full Stack Developer is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the design, coding, and modification of websites and web applications. This role involves collaborating with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and create suitable solutions, while also supporting and maintaining the corporate website and internal communication site, as well as custom applications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications.
  • Support and maintain the corporate website and internal communication site.
  • Create website/portal applications using standard HTML/CSS practices.
  • Design and develop new functionality for existing and new websites and applications.
  • Perform routine daily maintenance of existing websites and applications.
  • Develop prototypes of applications.
  • Identify new technologies or improvements to enhance usability, stability, and maintainability.
  • Provide technical consultation to the business community.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the team and implement solutions.
  • Comply with Corporate Compliance Program and report any unethical conduct.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience with Content Management Systems, preferably WordPress.
  • 0-2 years of front-end development experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.
  • 0-2 years of .NET development experience using C# and ASP.NET.
  • 0-2 years of strong RDBMS experience, preferably with MariaDB or SQL Server.
  • Experience with version control tools such as GitHub or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong systems analysis, problem-solving, and design skills.
  • Solid understanding of website functionality, UI, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Rally, or Trello.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree.
  • Up to 1 year of HMO experience.
  • Understanding of accessibility/disability/508 compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Search Engine Optimization processes.
  • Experience writing Functional and Technical specifications.
  • Experience with web form development, preferably WordPress Gravity Forms.
  • Experience with PHP.
  • Experience with API integration.
  • Experience with Telerik tool set.
  • 1+ years of responsive web development experience.
  • 1+ years of functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP).
