About the position

The Information Systems Analyst (Sustainment) role at Lockheed Martin is an early career position focused on full stack engineering within a DevSecOps environment. The role involves developing, modifying, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications to support the Lockheed Martin Factory. The selected candidate will collaborate with a dynamic team to design and release components of a DevSecOps pipeline, ensuring high-quality software delivery and adherence to agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Successful development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications, incorporating agile and DevSecOps methodologies and concepts
  • Active collaboration in a virtual team environment
  • Periodic travel to Lockheed Martin sites may be required
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience with at least one or more Object Oriented Supported Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Go
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Experience developing application interfaces, translations, and transformations
  • Track record of being a self-starter and strong independent contributor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Experience with version control and repository management tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket)
  • Experience using an IDE such as VSCode
  • Willingness to demonstrate your work to leaders and stakeholders as needed

Nice-to-haves

  • Full Stack Engineering experience utilizing DevSecOps practices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline automation including, but not limited to, GitLab CI
  • Experience working in a virtual environment
  • Experience with at least one or more web frameworks: Spring, Node.js, Angular
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and development techniques (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as code)
  • Willingness to utilize pair programming and test-driven development processes
  • Experience with working on teams in a geographically dispersed and virtual environment
  • Experience in executing test cases
