About the position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our multi-specialty group practice located in Lighthouse Point, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a comprehensive understanding of dental procedures and technologies. This role involves collaborating with specialists and other dentists to provide high-quality dental care to adult patients while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
• Utilize CAD (Cerec) technology for designing dental restorations and prosthetics.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid dental license in the state of practice.
• Experience with electronic health record systems such as Dentrix is preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is essential.
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting focusing on patient care is highly desirable.
