About the position

The Associate Graphic Designer at Gap Outlet Baby Boy will play a crucial role in creating in-house designs for apparel graphics. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional product development teams to produce mechanical art and complex graphic designs, ensuring alignment with seasonal concepts and the brand's aesthetic.

Responsibilities

• Research global markets to identify new seasonal trends, techniques, and competitive inspiration.
• Develop concepts and sketches for the product line and advocate for design ideas by presenting to internal leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Develop strong internal cross-functional relationships.
• Communicate difficult concepts in a simple manner.
• Participate in projects and assignments of diverse scope.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work accordingly.
• Strong creative sense with artistic abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of graphics production (e.g., silk screen color separation; camera ready art, heat transfers, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and additional related software.
