About the position

In this role at Old Navy, you will be responsible for creating in-house designs for apparel graphics, collaborating with cross-functional product development teams. Your focus will be on producing mechanical art and complex graphic designs that align with the brand's aesthetic and seasonal concepts, ensuring that the final products are appealing and worth the price for customers.

Responsibilities

• Research global markets to identify new seasonal trends, techniques, and competitive inspiration.
• Develop concepts and sketches for the product line and advocate for design ideas by presenting to internal leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Develop strong internal cross-functional relationships.
• Communicate difficult concepts in a simple manner.
• Participate in projects and assignments of diverse scope.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work accordingly.
• Strong creative sense with artistic abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of graphics production (e.g., silk screen color separation; camera ready art, heat transfers, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and additional related software.
