About the position

The Associate Health & Wellbeing Effectiveness Lead is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and governance of Mars' health strategy. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of health and wellbeing services across the regional portfolio, including occupational health management and wellbeing programming. The position involves managing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and fostering relationships with vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall delivery of key projects impacting the regional team, ensuring all work streams and initiatives are on track.
  • Build and manage relationships with 3rd party vendors, contractors, and suppliers to advance the health and wellbeing agenda.
  • Drive alignment between the global AH&WB strategy and the regional strategy to ensure execution of set priorities.
  • Facilitate project plan development, ensuring priorities are set and initiatives are clearly articulated.
  • Coach or support others in defining and delivering challenging project initiatives, conducting deep dives as needed.
  • Manage work streams scope through standardized processes to ensure consistent project disciplines are applied.
  • Ensure excellent execution of the regional program agenda and activities, tracking progress through dashboards and metrics.
  • Co-develop methodology and target setting for regional priorities, enhancing project management governance and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure leadership focus and intervention to remain on time and on budget, recognizing and resolving risks.
  • Establish governance for processes and maintain a knowledge capture system for project management capability.
  • Manage communications and technology operations to drive efficiency and effectiveness in health and wellbeing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in business, management, or a healthcare discipline is required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other project management related certifications are a plus.
  • Prior PMO experience with demonstrated ability to execute standard project management skills.
  • History of driving a regional team to implement a plan and influence critical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into action.
  • Occupational health and wellbeing experience is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
