About the position

The Associate I for the Broadband Access Initiative at Pew Charitable Trusts will support the operational needs of the project, which aims to address barriers to broadband access, including infrastructure and affordability. This role involves project and contract management, compliance, event planning, and internal communications, contributing to the overall mission of advancing effective policies through research and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible work environment.
  • Support the associate manager by developing workflow procedures for operations-related activities and managing timelines.
  • Draft agendas for internal meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist in compliance efforts with Legal, Government Relations, Contracts and Procurement, and Finance teams.
  • Provide project management support, including managing shared files, meetings, and deliverable tracking.
  • Build and manage Salesforce campaigns for legislative and stakeholder tracking.
  • Assist with event planning logistics, stakeholder communications, and note-taking.
  • Participate in activities that support program and Pew-wide objectives.

Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues and leverage technical systems for project completion.
  • Aptitude for applying a non-partisan, evidence-based approach to projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative relationships.
  • Strategic and creative thinking with the ability to manage multiple priorities and details.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Generally, one year of applicable experience.
