About the position

The Associate I, Quality Control Chemistry position is a contract role focused on performing cGMP QC Chemistry testing for various samples including release, stability, and in-process samples. The role involves routine analytical chemistry testing, supporting special projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cGMP QC Chemistry testing for QC Chemistry, release, stability, and in-process samples.
  • Conduct routine analytical chemistry testing including Wet chemistry, HPLC testing, and NaOH plate reader-based assays.
  • Support special projects as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot assay methods and equipment as needed.
  • Perform data entry and support trending activities.
  • Conduct general laboratory support activities including reagent preparation and equipment maintenance.
  • Author SOPs, protocols, and reports as needed.
  • Enter sample results in LIMS (LabVantage) and execute Electronic Assay Forms.
  • Support the stability program and manage QC lab supplies.
  • Complete and maintain cGMP documentation for work performed.
  • Participate in authoring quality systems records such as lab events, deviations, and CAPAs.
  • Establish and maintain a safe laboratory working environment.
  • Follow GxP regulations and company policies to ensure compliance.
  • Execute tasks as defined in internal guiding documents including SOPs and work instructions.
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices and Data Integrity requirements.
  • Complete training in assigned required learning plan.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in relevant scientific discipline
  • 0-2 years of laboratory experience
  • Demonstrated aptitude or ability to learn GxP regulations
  • Desire to make an impact in a high-growth, transformational company

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HPLC
  • Familiarity with SOP and CAPA processes
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
