About the position

As an Associate Identity Software Engineer at Hilton, you will be part of an innovative Technology team focused on developing consumer-facing technologies that enhance the hospitality experience. This role involves supporting both customer-facing and internal technologies, implementing identity management services, and collaborating with engineers to ensure secure user access management.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Identity Management services to support Hilton's technical and business goals.
  • Use technical expertise to enhance automation and service resiliency.
  • Implement authentication and identity standards.
  • Develop tools and scripts for automation.
  • Execute strategic plans for system updates and technical evolution.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop solutions for user access management, ensuring security and data protection.
  • Resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and enhance service quality.
  • Improve operations, workflows, and user experience.
  • Manage projects through all stages.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field.
  • Two (2) years of programming experience in Java, Powershell, or similar languages.
  • Two (2) years experience with system engineering with UNIX/Linux, Windows, Active Directory, LDAP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience with LDAP and directory structures.
  • Two (2) years of recent experience with Java Application servers (Weblogic, WebSphere, Glassfish, Tomcat, etc.).
