About the position

As the Global Trade Solutions (GTS) Associate Implementation Manager at HSBC, you will play a pivotal role in driving time to revenue by implementing Receivables Finance and Supply Chain products and services. This position requires you to maintain positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and clients, understanding their goals and objectives to help meet their targets effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cross-functional activities, including implementation, integration, client support, operations, sales, and product management. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that projects are executed smoothly and efficiently, aligning with the strategic objectives of the organization. In this role, you will partner with the Structured Trade Solutions team to conduct scope and discovery meetings with clients, developing tailored solutions and strategies that meet their business and technical needs. You will be responsible for creating an Implementation Scope Document or Project Plan that outlines the clear scope of work, including milestones, deliverables, and timelines for both internal and external partners, including clients. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will ensure that the implementation scope is fully articulated and agreed upon by all parties involved. Additionally, you will identify any risks and opportunities for process improvement, ensuring a swift realization of revenue by driving deals through the implementation process. Your ability to mobilize internal partners and resources will be essential in quickly understanding and resolving client issues, thereby enhancing client satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Structured Trade Solutions team members to conduct scope/discovery meetings with clients and develop solutions and strategies that align with the client's business and technical needs.
  • Develop an Implementation Scope Document/Project Plan outlining clear scope of work with milestones, deliverables, and timelines for internal and external partners, including clients.
  • Ensure implementation scope is fully articulated and agreed with clients and project team throughout the projects.
  • Identify any risks and process improvement opportunities and ensure speed to revenue realization by driving deals through the implementation process.

Requirements

  • Be well versed in Global Trade Solutions (GTS) products and services or other relevant industry expertise.
  • High level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues.
  • An extensive project management background, handling sophisticated and fast-paced client projects.
  • Expert time management, planning, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Be able to mobilize internal partners and resources to quickly understand and resolve client issues.
