About the position

The Associate, Inclusive Growth and Natural Capital (IGNC) at Palladium plays a crucial role in project management, supporting the delivery of projects that aim to create positive impacts on global challenges. This position involves managing financial and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, and contributing to high-quality project management within a diverse and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support project start-up and closeout activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between the project and the Process Excellence Hub.
  • Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of project-specific components of the project management manual.
  • Assist in training project staff on company policies, procedures, and client regulations.
  • Participate in the development, review, and tracking of project work plans.
  • Support the development and presentation of internal and external reporting.
  • Ensure project issues and risks are logged and monitored in the issues and risk portal.
  • Review procurements, budgets, and reports for compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assist with internal PMU administration, including drafting meeting agendas and tracking tasks.
  • Contribute to technical assistance and engage in work planning discussions with the field team.

Requirements

  • Project management experience with standard project management software (e.g., Microsoft Planner).
  • Experience with budget management and forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Financial acumen and ability to interpret financial reports.
  • Basic understanding of management principles and organizational skills.
  • Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience implementing USAID-funded programs.
  • Proficiency in a second language relevant to a developing country context.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $57,000 to $65,000.
