About the position

The Associate Industry Executive, Account Development - Direct Sales at TransUnion is responsible for driving new logo acquisition and expanding service sales within existing clients. This role involves creating and executing sales plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging data-driven marketing solutions to meet revenue goals. The position requires a strong understanding of the digital ecosystem and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Create and direct the execution of sales plans to drive new logo acquisition and new service sales into the existing client base.
  • Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (product, marketing, engineering, customer success, etc.) to ensure successful scoping and pricing for scalable profitable engagements.
  • Optimize revenue recognition and ensure positive customer onboarding experiences for new logos and new service sales.
  • Identify new trends and product opportunities based on market feedback.
  • Accurately forecast new sales and revenue projections via salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of enterprise or inside sales experience selling to Ad/Mar Tech, Retail, Direct to Consumer (D2C) verticals.
  • Experience delivering complete solutions for data-driven marketing or analytics (CXO).
  • Proficient prospecting skills with a hunter mentality.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and quantitative data.
  • Intellectually curious with a strong desire to learn about marketing activities and their impact on revenue.
  • Experience working within or selling into the digital ecosystem.
