About the position

The Associate Integrated Marketing Manager will oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of corporate events and conferences for CPA.com. This role is crucial for enhancing brand visibility and achieving corporate goals through high-impact events, including large-scale conferences, webinars, and VIP experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of an annual events strategy that supports corporate initiatives.
  • Oversee the execution of 50+ annual in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, including large-scale industry conferences and thought leadership symposiums.
  • Manage the overall strategy for the company's flagship conference, Digital CPA, including programming, logistics, and budget management.
  • Research and secure venues, service providers, speakers, and strategic partners to enhance event experiences.
  • Conduct post-event analysis to assess success and provide recommendations for future improvements.
  • Lead the management of the Digital CPA Advisory Board and represent the company in various event committees.
  • Develop event themes, agendas, and content aligned with corporate goals and branding.
  • Project manage all event agenda content deliverables for large-scale conferences.
  • Create and manage the CPA.com annual speaking topics library and coordinate speaking requests.
  • Handle logistics for keynote speakers, including travel arrangements and technical needs.
  • Allocate and manage the annual event budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and tracking expenditures.
  • Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring smooth operations.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in B2B event management with a proven track record of executing large-scale corporate events.
  • Leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Exceptional budget management skills and understanding of financials and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in event and project management software, such as Event Power, Monday.com, and ShoApp.
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
