About the position

The Associate Integration/Test Engineer at L3Harris is responsible for supporting subsystem and system level testing, developing test plans and procedures, and conducting integration and test activities. This role involves collaboration with various engineering disciplines and program management to ensure that products meet functional and performance requirements, contributing to the company's mission of delivering end-to-end technology solutions in the defense industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans and procedures for First Article Qualification Tests and Factory Acceptance Tests.
  • Conduct integration and test activities as part of the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, program management, quality assurance, and product leads.
  • Understand and analyze System Requirements Documents, Interface Control Documents, and Software Requirements Specifications.
  • Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test.
  • Generate test documentation such as test set design review packages, test procedures, work instructions, and test reports.
  • Build, configure, troubleshoot, and integrate servers for service enhancements and application deployments.
  • Execute MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STF-461G EMI/EMC qualification testing.
  • Lead and conduct software integration and tests.
  • Procure required equipment to support system build and create supporting documentation.
  • Design, build, operate, and maintain test sets and test equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Knowledge/experience with electronic circuits and automated test software.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and the manufacturing test environment.
  • Ability to debug, analyze, and verify products meet functional and performance requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Electronics testing background with knowledge of test process flow and execution.
  • Experience with MIL-STD-810 testing.
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as Oscilloscopes and Spectrum Analyzers.
  • Ability to automate test procedures and data analysis activities.
  • Knowledge of data center infrastructure design including power requirements and cooling.
