About the position

The Associate, Integration / Test Engineering position at L3Harris involves supporting integration, testing, and calibration activities on complex ground and airborne electronics systems. The role is essential for ensuring the operational readiness of various subsystems and requires a strong focus on troubleshooting, testing, and documentation. The position is based in Greenville, Texas, and follows a 9/80 work schedule, allowing for every other Friday off.

Responsibilities

  • Support integration, test, and calibration activities on complex ground/airborne electronics systems.
  • Perform system and subsystem troubleshooting to component level.
  • Conduct subsystem pre-operational checks in accordance with engineering documentation.
  • Configure and prepare LRUs and subsystem components for operation.
  • Test LAN and fiber optic harness assemblies per engineering specifications.
  • Conduct length, phase matching, and anomaly testing of RF harness assembly subsets.
  • Load LRU's, amplifiers, and circuit cards, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Create and update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for documentation purposes.
  • Identify subsystem LRU failures and take appropriate troubleshooting actions.
  • Recommend repair/corrective actions for hardware, software, and firmware anomalies.
  • Support EMI/Tempest testing of airborne subsystems.
  • Assist in software and hardware development integration activities.
  • Perform aircraft pre-flight activities to ensure flight readiness.
  • Utilize various test equipment for subsystem and system level troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. DOD Secret Security clearance and maintain a Top Secret Security clearance with SCI.
  • Experience with mission/communications systems aboard military airborne and/or ground-based platforms.
